Looks like normal foam cut in squares(?)with a backing .

It should bond very well,question is, would you use epoxy & filler (preffered!)or the companys ....non epoxy ...poly glue?

I can't forsee any problems using it as far as bonding goes ,but I havn't used it or read any further as to it's temperature tolerances, especially on decks, this is important.
