Thanks for your answer. Sorry about the comparisons, but since I have narrowed my options to these two projects, I can only find out which is better for me by comparing them. I can honestly say that I prefer Janus for its bigger accommodations and more beautiful design. However, I still have some questions that I hope you could answer.
Some people have used Hobbie cat 16‘s mast and sails in the tiki 21, because they are very cheap here in Brazil. Would that be an idea for your Janus?
Wharram says on his website that he eliminated all "the expensive, glittering metal fittings common to modern yacht design”. What about Janus? I ask that because all these hardware are very expensive. Furthermore, it doesn’t make sense to build a cheap boat and then have to fit it with expensive things.
What can I do in order to create some space to live in when cruising for a long time? A small cuddy to fit a galley would be possible?
Does Janus have watertight buoyancy compartments? Would it float even if flooded?
Where can I find some more pictures of Janus? Do you have some you could send me or an address on the internet I could browse for it? I only have four or five photos I took from your website. Thanks and sorry about the language mistakes.
