A person I am related to sits on the Jennings, MO City Council. This family member had documents at one time on the haunted Insane Asylum mentioned on your site. The man who owns the house tried to break in to my relative's home to steal the paperwork. He was trying to convince the city council to let him convert the house to a bed and breakfast. Now would you want to spend the night in that creepy place with its history? Not me! I have been in with friends and I also felt the paranormal energy the house has. I didn't stay very long at all!
Luckily the Jennings City Council declined the owners request to renovate the house into a bed and breakfast. I have heard the city wanted to tear the house down. But the man is insistant on its historical status and will not allow the city to do so.
