: what it "looks" like you have found is what they use to call a poor farm for the fact of which they were used for the mentally off and those sorts of people. They where used from the late 1800's to early 1900's until the state or states came in and took them over or shut them down
Jennings Station Rd. & McLaren is in Jennings as I used to live not far from there growing up.
From what I know it was a mental hospital AKA insane asylum.
