As a Truman student, I've heard several stories about ghosts in Kirksville, namely the cemetery and Truman State University. One thing to really look into is the Dibbuk Box (see link). Last time I heard, it was being kept in northeast Missouri by its owner, away from people. You may understand why after reading about it.
