According to the 1901 Census of Clare, Crusheen, township of Clooneen, there is a Michael McNamara, farmer, b.1861, his wife Susan b.1863, children John 1896, MaryAnne 1898, Bridget 1899, Patrick assumed in utero at time of census in 1901. This matches very closely or exactly with my verbal accounts. There are three Barry boys listed in the same township, though all in their teens, listed as "stepsons". Various Whelans, Fordes and Barry's listed in nearby townships. A very useful record.
