My mother Rita's family came from Kilbane. Her father James siblings were Mic,Jack and Mary who stayed in Ireland and Dan, Annie and Nora who immigrated to the United States in the mid 1850's.If anyone in Ireland is related to this branch of the McNamara family I would love to hear from you. I just returned from Ireland Feb. 2008 and was pleased to find out that Bunratty Castle was built by the McNamara clan. It's nice to have a historic site which represents McNamara's worlwide.
