Just thought I would let you know of my McNamara connection. I was forwarded your website by Gay Ritter as Catherine Agnes McNamara was my great grandmother's sister. My great great grandparents were Patrick McNamara and Bridget Magner of Mountrivers, Doonbeg, Co Clare. Their children were Thomas,Francis, Patrick, Michael, James , John, Honor, Bridget ( my great grandmother), Susan ,Catherine Agnes ( who married David Baker, of Gay Ritters family), and Ellen,all born in Ireland between 1836 and 1852. Most of them left Ireland for New Zealand and then settled here in Melbourne in around the 1890's. I don't believe our McNamara's are connected at this stage but you never know! Congratulations on your website, its very informative and interesting. Anyway,I just thought I would let you know of my Macs in case you ever come across anything of interest.
