: I think you have it right, but lack certainty. There is no clear run between hull and cabin at cabin bottom level. As you look up you can see an inverted trench which is closed at each end by the fore and aft beam respectively. At the aft end of this trench you will see, on the final assembly sheet, a fairing piece, which runs between the underside of the deck, and the lower forward edge of the cee oh cee kay-pit. This naturally extends under the cbin, but is rather shorter here. This piece runs from the underside of the cabin to the $%£pit lower edge.

: : : It looks to me as if the area below the beam is solid and above the beam is open. You climb over the beams to go forward. I think the answer is to leave it open. Perhaps I misunderstood your question in the first place.
