Raising BridgeDeck Floor?

I'm at the stage in my Eclipse build where I can deviate from the plans a bit by possibly raising the Bridgedeck floor half a foot (6in.)(14cm?).

This would increase clearance of the floor from waves when fully loaded for cruising.

The cabin top of foam/glass would also raise the same amount.

Would this deviation from the plans result in an unsafe boat?
