I did not glass the underside of my Gypsy either.
Just epoxy and paint. I imagine it has taken more abuse being stored in the outdoors and moved mutliple times than it will in the water. No problems yet. Of course it is not floating yet

: Is the underside of the cuddy supposed to be glassed? Being that it's 'exposed ply' I'm guessing it should be. I'm thinking it would be easiest to do this early, while I can still flip the base over. What have other romany/gypsy builders done here?

: Things are progressing well for me, I've got 2 hull halves (I’m using a female mold) glassed, and I'm starting on the cuddy. My hulls are in a far away shop, so I'm working on all the pieces simultaneously.
