I would love to get some advice about building a Janus versus a Wizard. We live in Singapore and hope to mainly do traveling up the coast with a beachable cat. We need room for 4 people to sleep. Since the sun is hot here, it is nice to have a cuddy or some shelter but not mandatory. We are novices to boat building and the boat will be build by my 16 yr old son, my wife and myself. We want to build in marine plywood (inexpensive here) and be able to demount/fold the boat to save storage space.
The Wizard and Janus both look appropriate. Can anyone help us know the difference in difficulty in building either one? Are there any estimates on build time for each one? Thanks for any help!
