I'm often not able to use power sanders like my 8 inch padded one which works well, but is noisy for the neighbors.
I've also found it to be hard on my elbows and shoulder, getting up in years....
So, I picked up a dry wall sanding pole from a box store (LOWES) ,it has a swivel between the pole and the large sanding pad.
Pole is about four feet long, this looks like it will work out OK, ...taking pressure off the one arm sanding technique, allowing you to lean into it with a body motion ,not necessarily sanding too hard if that is a worry.
It came witha hook and loop pad and solid sand paper that sticks to the pad real well.
I found the pads with the two tighening ends often rip at one end before the paper is used up.
Heres hoping it works out well ,I have a good feeling about it!
Especially the paper it's the really solid stuff that lasts a long time ,
The pole and paper are made by GatorGrit (USA)
Pad is 4 1/2 inches x 10 1/2in.
