I expect to start a build of the Quattro 16 this summer and am researching some aspects.
I'm considering building up the beams using composites. I don't have a decent source for secondhand mast material and so was looking at the sleeves available from soller composites and following some of the various sources on the web for construction.
My question is, any idea on what laminating schedule I should use to establish the stiffness required? (I plan on reinforcements for the beam mount and mast step areas).
