Who was the genius that came up with each team only bein' able to carry (2) 25 year olds AND they have to go through a draft AND they can't pitch? So your sayin' that only a total of 12 new players can be added to the league this year? It's rules like this that I guess is the reason there are only 6 teams in the league. I know me personally....I was all set to play in your league until I found out about this rule. I don't want to risk bein' drafted by another team and not getting to play with the team that I wanted to play with in the first place. I know personally 5 other players who arn't even going to the "draft" or playing in the league now that are 25 because of this rule. I dont know much about your league but I know 6 people who already have a bad taste in their mouths because of this and there is no telling how many other people feel the same way. We are just ready to play ball. Isn't that what a baseball league should be about? Do the pro leagues limit their league with certain aged players? Is it fair that a Major League team has 3 or 4 mid 20's player's on their team and another team only has one? Do they look at it like that? My point is. Either you can play ball or you can't. The only difference between a 25 yr old and a 35 yr old is that he might not have to train as hard to keep in shape...if you keep up your skills and stay in shape...a 35 yr old can hang with the best of them. My point is you are hand cuffing your league and you won't ever grow (which obviously you dont' want to) if you have these dumb rules. Good luck to everyone on your season.
