My Father was aboard the "Lex" During "WW II" He served with AIR GROUP 19 His
Name was Dwight C. Catron He flew in the "TBM"s as a gunner, torpedomen PO
2nd class Ordencemen. He recived the "DFC" along with other medals. I do know
he was in the battle of Layte,and the luyngan gulf. If you could give me any
info on his Squadron Or refure me to any sites that would help me in
compiling a history of my dads war years, I'd be grateful.
