I have a nine year old son who is a huge fan of the original programs and I have managed to really upset him. In the last year he has had the chance to meet several of the original cast and something has always come up. The first time was last September for his birthday a family friend was going to take him to meet John Schnieder and we had a family tradgedy. My neice was killed in a car accident and we were not sure if my other niece or nephew were going to make it either. They pulled through with some life changing complications but are alive. My neice who was killed was supposed to go with my son on his trip. He has felt really guilty ever since. Then back in March he had a chance to go and meet Rosco and my husbands niece had some thing going on that we couldn't miss so he didn't get to go to that. Then this last weekend was Duke Fest and we don't have the money for that also Enes was in the area and I messed up the date so we didn't get to go to that either. Not to mention in the last week Josh has had to give up Rosco his pet Racoon and his dad is talking about finding a new home for Flash his beagle because we need to cut down on animals and she is one of the slowest of the group. Some of his DVD's are no longer working. I think he has just worn them out. We don't have the money to purchace new seasons for him and we have no way of getting anywhere for him to meet any of the cast expecially John Schnieder his all time hero and favorite. If anyone has any advice on how to make things up to him please help. I don't know what to do the one year anniversary of my neices death and the accident is comming and so is his 10th birthday. Jayme didn't make it to ten please help my son not feel like he doesn't deserve to make it to ten either. Please I need to help my son. I don't know where else to turn other than to people who love what he loves more than anything in the world.
