Gabby is doing so much better. Of course, we are not away from danger but further along than before. She really is surprising me. We actually milked her of her colostrum the day she foaled and froze it, not knowing what the future would hold for it. Well today, we were at our local Tractor Supply Store and a woman needed some for her new calve was asking the salesperson and they were all out. Kevin overheard her and went to her and explained that he had some. Well it never fails for God to take care of us when we are in need. We are so broke right now due to him being unable to work last week from the flu, so any amount would help us. She bought a 120ml bag for $20.00. WOW!! GOD YOU ARE SO GOOD TO US.
Trix is not showing any other signs other than softening in the hips and relaxed vulva. She still has a slight bag but not building a good one. Hopefully in time it will come. I think I am so anxious to have a healthy foal on the ground, that I am too antsy. Thanks for listening.
