I am kindof proud of myself, well a little more than kindof. Well to give you alittle history on myself, I am not a big rider, especially after the loss of Molly (the only one I have ever really rode and was comfortable with). I also have never been the kind to get into a round pen with a never been really touched colt to train. Well you should have seen me last night. I worked two of our colts. One is my father in law's gaited 7 month old, that needed alittle spook gotten out of him. And the other is my Maggie, my new 19 month old filly. Well after an hour of ground work( Clinton Anderson style), they both were following me around the ring. They would walk not jump across a blue tarp. I am so dang proud of myself that I was able to accomplish this on my first attempt, I just can not stand myself. LOL! And I just had to come and share my story with you. Take care today. And wish me luck that tomorrow after the storms that I will be able to do more with them. Oh btw, I also saddled and Kevin rode Maggie with no bucking at all. She is a true diamond. I am glad I have her.
