I'm so sorry to hear of Yankee's passing. So much I didn't know about him, but I agree....he had that wonderful way of making me smile (okay and break out into laughter with his posts!).
: To all the online friends of Yankee. I am his daughter Jo. He may have mentioned me to some of you. I want to thank each of you for your friendship with my Dad. He made some online friends that he cherished.
: When my mother passed away in 1994 I thought my father would die of a broken heart. Fortunately he discovered the internet and a whole new world of friends. You people were what saved his life because you let him show his wit and humor. And for that his family is grateful.
: Yankee may be gone from this Earth but he will never be gone from our hearts. Thank you for being part of his life.
