It seems to me that only 24 people want to win a championship this season. I called a Saturday practice since we had a week off and only 13 of you showed up. Saturday is a day that we normally play our games and you mean to tell me that just because we didn't have a game the remaining 40 players felt as though there isn't a need or a reason to come to Saturday's practice. If we did have a game we would’ve had all 43 of you there. Do you think we're that good? I don't think so! Do you think that we don't need practice anymore? Do you think that teams are just going to lay down for us? If you think so then our first game of our new season will start and end Saturday! Get your asses to practice! If you're not there then don't criticize the man that will play in front of you and maybe the entire game. I told you all a long time ago, I only need 11 men that are football players instead of 40 people that just likes to play football. If I have to teach my offense to the defensive players and vice versa, I'll do that, all I need is 11.
I didn't bust my ass all year and season to come this far and throw it all away for some inconsiderate people that can say the word "championship" every week but lack the knowledge of preparation to win one.
You need to realize that it takes 4 consecutive games to win the championship BUT it only takes 1 game to lose it! (A lack of preparation and/or the lack of the proper preparation will get you that 1 lost fast….season over!) If anybody has any problems, questions, comments or concerns, see me!
