Hi all,
I have a community praise dance ministry comprised of mostly teens, the majority of which recently joined. The ministry is really taking off & we have been invited to minister at a number of events. Because we want to stand out, my mother makes "pieces" of our costumes (belts, overskirts, overlays, etc.)The pieces she makes are beautiful & really go with the music we minister. At times, if she has made a skirt, we wear leotards to complete the outfit. I had a mother approach me in love after her daughter ministered with us for the first time. Let me say upfront this was not a confrontation. Her daughter felt awkward because they have been taught that leotards are underwear, and without an ephod over it you are naked. It was giving me food for thought. I require the ladies to wear covering underneath the leotards so that the body itself will not be seen. I myself layer up as much as possible when I prepare to minister. I am interested to know what everyone thinks. My husband and others commented that we dress in good taste and should not chane what we do because someone disagrees as long as we continue to present ourselves as HOLY. I'm initerested in thoughts. In praise, cj2
