I personally think the dance ministry, regardless of age, should fall under the dance ministry. The youth can minister during youth services, and the youth ministers can assist with bible study and things like that.
I know a church where it is done that way and it seems to work.
There should be ONE dance ministry.

: I am over our youth dance team and our church just hired youth pastors. Until now, the youth dance team has fallen under the adult dance team which fell within the worship department. The new youth pastors feel that it should now be placed in the youth department.
