Why do you want to start your own Ministry outside of the church? is this leader your pastor? Can you have a second dance team with different people at your church?
I would encourage you to pray...I could be wrong...however it sounds like you are saying that your leader is in disagreement with what you are doing so you are just gonna do your own thing...not good...especially if this is your pastor...there are many leaders out there that have started ministries out of hurt and or anger toward their leaders...this is a hard road...I received a word of encouragement some years ago that helps me alot today...God would say, where He is taking you, there is not time for hurt and unforgiveness...if you have to get on your face and seek the answer from God and turn down your plate then do it...DO NOT LEAVE YOUR MINISTRY OR START A NEW ONE WITHOUT THE BLESSING OF YOUR LEADER OR PASTOR...If your pastor is in agreement then go for it...Now if I am wrong on all of that...I appologize...and above all remember what your gift if for...you wanna talk about ministering in other churches...start with people you know...when there are open programs that invite the community out to participate in church programs go...This is a good question for Karmel and Deidra (flint)...they have been doing this for a while mabe we can get them to answer...in the meantime stay Holy...Do not allow flesh to interfere with your ability to take people into the presence of God when you dance...and remember...one day you are gonna have to give someone this same advice...and you are gonna shout when you can look back and say that you made it...Amen
