Thanks Karmel! I love suggestion #4 and #3 is creative too!!! I have been planning to do #1 and #6 (I paid attention at the Sympetizer :-) ) I hope they will appreciate the exercise and understand that working on expression is just as important (if not more) as practicing the mechanics/choreography of the dance. No one will care that you move your arms and legs the right way if you look like you don't want to be standing in front of them! When we discuss expression in practice, I frequently hear "Oh, this is just practice. I'll have my facial expressions on Sunday when we dance". I always say "What you practice is what you'll do!" Thank you for these suggestions! I don't know if I want to teach the expression workshop--I'll leave that to you because you're so good at it--but I would be glad to help out. One other workshop suggestion...could you have a workshop for group members (separate from leaders) on trusting your leaders vision for the group? We are so excited about the Symposium!!
