Hi there!

I am asked quite often to serve as a clinician at workshops, teaching choreography pieces to groups.

I truly enjoy the fellowship that comes out of ministers of dance from various backgrounds gathering together for a single purpose: the art of brining souls to Christ through praise dance. My husband & I just discussed yesterday how in all of these workshops, we do not see a total surrender to God. Once the final concert ministry piece has been rendered (and really throughout the workshop/conference) there should be a TOTAL move of the Holy Spirit eliminating performance & taking everyone to the next level of pure, unadulterated praise filling the altars. Is there a class like that at the symposium? There probably is, as N-Him is not a group of performers themselves.

Myself? I would love to see more ministries network & come together on one accord. Because I have a professional community ensemble, it is easier for us to connect with others, but what about the general mass of ministers in dance? And regarding COMPETITION, is there a class on that? Everyone should remember that uniforms are not the only thing you are wearing: (i.e. - attitudes, servant's spirit, ministry mindedness.)

Ok - closing because now I've gotten too long-winded. But as someone in attendance of many workshops & conferences, this is what I see. Hope it makes sense; & hope to meet you all one day!!!

: Oh my goodness, Annanora, I was JUST thinking about you!! WOW!!

: Yes, I'll put it on the blog. Give me a few days. We are thinking to have our lawyer do a talk on it at the symposium for leaders as well. Let us know if you think this is a good or bad idea.

: Speaking of good and bad ideas for the symposium, we are well into our planning of workshops for the symposium. If anyone has something you need out of a workshop, something you see that is needed in general for dance ministry, something you'd suggest we avoid discussing, etc. please feel free to share it.

: Also, for those of you who have come to any of our past symposiums, feel free to email me at karmel@n-him.org with things you think we should improve or bring back.

: Thanks!!

: Karmel
