This is something to read, you can respond if you want:
Everybody in the body of Christ have a ministry whether you are a person who gives those sweet loving hugs the pastor preaching the word or perhaps the one who is ignored by people, but loved by God. In the body of Christ whether you believe it or not we all are one and in unity. So since we are in unity in the body why can't we be an unity in the ministry? Why can't we show the love of Christ? Why are we beating each other for competition, standards, promotions and positions?
1 Corinthians 12: 22-26
"On the contrary, those parts of the body that seems weaker are indispensable, and the parts that we think are less honorable we treat with special honor. And the parts that are unpresentable are treated with special modesty, while our presentable parts need no special treatment. But God has combined the members of the body and has given greater honor to the parts that lacked it, so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it."
So really all this jealousy, hatred, envy, pride, etc. we have going on should not be!
Ephesians 4:2-5
"Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit- just as you were called to one hope when you were called- one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all."
Esphesian 4:15-16
"Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work"
Do you hear that? We have a job to do and it is the ministry of Christ not our ministry, not the pastor ministry, not the religious ministry. The ministry is not ours.
1 Peter 4:10-11
"Each one should use whatever gift he has recieved to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen"
So in everything you do, let it be for the glory of God. Give all credit to God that is due to His magnificent name, for He is a wonderful God! God has shown us mercy, love, and really cares about us. To see us fighting one another for a ministry that doesn't belongs to us but to God. It breaks God's heart. We are suppose to be the example to the world, not just by the way we live but how we treat each other. What is your ministry? What is it all about? Is it about the Lord Jesus Christ or is it about the ways of the world? How are you teaching your ministry? In love or are you taching in hate? Are you growing in the Lord or are you still in the same spot that you have been in forever? Where do I start? How do I change my ministry? How can I get my ministry to grow? How can I grow more in Christ? What shall I do? The answer is easy but the process is one that is rough, but it is for your good. Stop pushing God away and let Him reconstruct, remodel, renewed you. Let Him come in and reconstruct your mind, but that doesn't mean it is all going to be done in one day. And it definitely doesn't mean that God is going to do all the work. Aw nall sweetie you have to put some work in it because you are going to get out what you put in. God will only do what you let Him do. Those negative thoughts have to go astray, your focus is on God, you are not only reading the word but thinking about it and applying it. God is not a man that He should lie and if He said He has a plan for you then yes He has a plan for you. He loves you! He wants you to prosper! Victory is already yours so reach out and grab what is already yours! We are His and He is ours! He is tired of us being divided by religious, by cliques, by pride, by jealously, by envy, by hatred, by standard, by positions and who is better than the other. We might as well drop the line, all the man made rules need to thrown out the window! We are one in Christ and there are millions of people who still have not heard and we still have to reach them. We know about the end times when God is coming back the wrath that is going to be place on this earth. It is beyond what any of us can imagine. Put away our selfish needs and pray for somebody who doesn't know, pray for their hearts, pray for their soul. Nobody wants to suffer and not be able to die. Nobody wants to be apart of God's wrath. I know I don't want to be here at all. So what is your ministry? What is God's ministry? Reach out to the lost because that is who we are called to save in Jesus name.
God used everybody no matter how many times they have sin! He forgives, forget, and send us on!
