: Hi David, : Thanks again for your help(sorry about re-posting your reply to me). : I guess more research will have to be done into the history of this man.The information listing him as `HMS Odyssey` came from the grave details of the CWGC site. : So I'm guessing that the man in question was already on the books of some ship or establishment,and was part of an NP despatched to Holland.As he had a Portsmouth Command Service number,he may well have been at Eastney Barracks before going overseas. : Many thanks. : Brian.
