I work for a small maritime charity called Lagan Legacy. We are shortly putting on an exhibition about the Belfast built Flower Class Corvettes in the 2nd Wold War. We would be thankful to receive information of any sort from anyone who served on them,(during or after the war)or helped build them. To the best of my knowldge there were about 30 of them, named thus: HMS: Abelia Alisma Anchusa Armeria Arabis Bergamot Broom Bryony Buttercup Calendula Camellia Chrysanthemum Clarkia Cowslip Eglantine
Fritillary Freesia Genista Gentian Gloxinia Heartease Heather Hibiscus Kingcup Mallow Orchis Peony Periwinkle Picotee Pimpernell Rhododendron.
I look forward to hearing from you,
Regards,
Charlie Warmington.
