I am seeking information about the World War II service of Rear Admiral William Scott CHALMERS, RN (1888-1971). I obtained a copy of his service record from the National Archives but it does not show his appointments after autumn 1939. I also located three short obituaries printed in newspapers but these mostly focus on his World War I experiences and mention the books he wrote. Can someone direct me to a published secondary source or primary source documents that mention his experiences at the Admiralty 1940-1942? This research is part of a project that investigates the RN's system of liaison with other navies. I appreciate whatever leads anyone has to offer.
Sincerely,
Mark C. Jones
