I am a PhD student looking into the encounter between HMS Narcissus (launched 1801, 32-gun fifth rate) and Le Napoleon on Christmas Day 1805 the result of which was the running aground of the French Privateer at a place called Olifantsbos on the Cape Peninsula, South Africa.
Any information about either vessel or related matters would be much appreciated.
Warm regards
J
