: :SCOTTISH was the name of a 222 ton Grimsby trawler that was taken over by the Navy in 1939 and armed/converted to a minesweeper; I believe she was initally employed in Scottish waters before deploying the Gibraltar where she acted as an armed patrol vessel/boarding vessel. She was returned to her owners in 1945 to revert to fishing.
