Motor Launch 1275 was one of a large group of Harbour Defence Motor Launches (HDMLs).

They measured 46/54 tons, 72 feet x 15 feet
Diesel engines/2 shafts - 11.5 knots
armed 1 x 3pdr and machine guns

1275 was built Whitstable by Anderson, Rigdon Perkins, ,being launched on 21 June 1943.

She was shipped out to the Indian Ocean to join the far East Fleet.

She operated off the coast of Arakan during 1944 and 45 under the command of Lieutenant Leslie Thomas Millard RNVR.

She was sold at Singapore in 1947
