my grandfather was a telegraphist in the rnvr during world war one and his diary says he was in "sealkot" between november 1918 and january 1919. having left portsmouth the ship called at dover, le havre, woolwich, rosyth and leith before returning to the east india docks in london when my grandfather was demobilised.

i have searched the records for "sealkot" but am unable to trace a royal navy vessel of this name. can anyone throw any light on this vessel?

bob
