Hello Dave.
wondering if you would be intrested in my reply form the Royal Navy Trophy Center

Looks like that they have been given back to the Indian Goverment

They sent a letter to the Royal Navy asking where they were and are they still in use. ie on another ship called Mahratta

and because the Royal Navy never give this name to another ship, it was in the agrement that they would be returned to the proper owners

There is a letter showing that they was packed in 2 boxes and returned to the Royal Naval Headquarters in Bombay.
They included: Mahratta Sepoy, Silver Tray, 2 Silver Ink Pots and an unspecified number of Mahratta Swords and a sheild.

: : You could try starting with the Royal Navy Trophy Store, which is where all such things are usually held when not in use. It is in HMS Nelson, the shore establishment at Portsmouth

: Hi Dave
: Thanks that can be my 1st starting point.

: Kieron
