: from this you will see that in February 1943 she was exercising and working up off Norfolk, Virginia.

: The World War 2 casualty site shows Able Seaman Sidney Morgan dying 'of wounds' on 3rd February 1943. As she was not in action, it would suggest that the death was the result of an onboard accident.
