: why do thinks get harder the more we try to find out things. : OK just got the (unparaphrased) version of the survivors list dated 29th Feb 1944, 5 days after the Destroyer was sunk, there seems to be some names missing that i expected to be there. always thought there was 16 survivors, but there is 18 names, yes there is 1 name, but died later and was buried at sea, so that makes 17 survivors, there are also 6 names that i thought would be there and are not... : would there be a later list some where.
