: Those killed were: : BREHOUT, Ronald T V, Able Seaman : COLE, John C, Lieutenant Commander : FORD, Frank C, Able Seaman : GUINNESS, Patrick R C,Sub-Lieutenant : HARRIS, Arthur N, Leading Telegraphist : NALDER, Hugh H, Ty/Act/Sub Lieutenant (A), RNVR : SMITH, Boaz, Stoker 1c : THORPE, Parker, Able Seaman : Can't help with those that survived. : P R C Guinness I can only give an outline, gained from the Navy Lists - : 14 Aug 1936 Naval Cadet (presumably when he entered - at Dartmouth?) : 1 January 1937 - Midshipman : 1 January 1939 - Sub-Lieutenant : early 1939 - listed as being on a Course, Portsmouth : 15 June 1939 - appointed to destroyer VELOX at Chatham : ...I have no other info until he appears in the casualty list for MTB.41. : : MTB.41 belonged to the 5th MTB Flotilla which was then being formed at Dover; it was the senior officer's boat until lost :
