P R C Guinness I can only give an outline, gained from the Navy Lists -
14 Aug 1936 Naval Cadet (presumably when he entered - at Dartmouth?)
1 January 1937 - Midshipman
1 January 1939 - Sub-Lieutenant
early 1939 - listed as being on a Course, Portsmouth
15 June 1939 - appointed to destroyer VELOX at Chatham
...I have no other info until he appears in the casualty list for MTB.41.
MTB.41 belonged to the 5th MTB Flotilla which was then being formed at Dover; it was the senior officer's boat until lost
