Hi everyone, I am just so happy and relieved! I went to a new GI yesterday because I had um-m-m "issues" with the last one. My new guy is a pancreatologist and a hepatologist. Just what the dr. ordered. a no nonsense guy who brought up my scans on computer and showed them to me, ordered a new and better one to see if I had any stones in the main duct. My last GI told everyone in my HMO that my main problem was IBS, still, after seeing that my panc is full of calcifications and atrpohied. This caused no one to believe me when I said I was in pain and they all looked at me like it was all in my head.
for those of you who are in the position I was in now, there is hope. Keep looking for the right doctor.
