JT,
I am so sorry for what you and your husband are going through. I can't imagine how tough life is for you right now.
I hope you'll have your friend come stay with you soon. And like Vicki said, when people ask how they can help, tell them. I know for myself I would love to do something to help in times such as these but just don't know what to do. When people ask what they can do, they really mean it. Ask them to fix some food, vacuum a floor, run an errand, or just sit with your husband for awhile so you can go off and try to relax for an hour. Taking people up on their offers will make them feel good that they could help, and will help you out a lot, even if it's just little things here and there.
I'm sure you want to do what you can for your husband and be with him as much as you can, but please, please, try to take care of yourself too. You don't want to end up having an attack severe enough to put you in the hospital when you most need to be home with him. It's just as important to take care of yourself right now as it is to take care of him. Please utilize any and all help you can get.
I know some are offended by it, but I believe very strongly in God and the power of prayer. I'll be praying that God will carry you through all of this until you are able to stand on your own and walk beside him.
Thoughts and prayers are with you.
God Bless,
Ronda
