Dear Friends,
I returned home this past Thursday after 31/2 weeks recuperating from my surgery with Dr Sutherland on 9/8.
He harvested around 360,000 islt cells which was a great relief to us all. The first week after the surgery was rough but after that I was busy doing physical therapy, occupational therapy and learning about how to administer insulin
There is some pain at the incision site but no pancreas pain!!!!
