I have been suffering from abdomen pain for 10 months. I've had several hospital admissions for this as well as tests and no one has an answer. I have had frequent trips to the va er for pain nausea fever and all that happens is that I'm sent home with narcotic pain pills. The gi clinic at the va hospital has no answers, and its to the point where they are thinking I'm drug seeking. But I am not I have been unable to work and have no life. Three weeks ago I was rushed to a different hospital unconcious from the pain. I again had all the tests bloodwork and was told it was a diagnosis of pancreatitis and cholystitis, the er doc wanted to admit be but I refused do to the fact of having no insurance. When I left I was in extreme pain nauseated back pain chest pain. The pain has lessened the fever is lower I have no appetite and have gone from 280 lbs to 259 lbs. Always tired. I am a insulin dependent diabetic with high blood pressure and high cholesterol, and kidney disease.. And now I can't pass any bowel movements.. The hydrocodone doesn't touch the pain at all so haven't taken any in 10 days. I just feel lost and about to lose all hope. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
