A Little over a month ago I went for surgery and I find that it may be releveant to you all
I had tests done before which showed I had copiuos amounts of bile in my stomach.
The 2 other people that have had this done al had lap Choly surgery followed by 2 spincterotomes that all left them stil with pain.
They had an excison of the common bile duct and hepaticojejunostomy. It was major surgery, the 2 who had it done had been to mayo and cleveland and had similar sugeries to me and are both now pain free one took 3 months other a year.
it is a month since it was done and i am on 1/4 of pain meds I was on and thats taking into account i am still recovering from surgery etc.
alls I can say is that i have been through the mill in last ten years and this may be a path in the future for some all though its only been done here in NZ.
