Recently got round to watching (Youtube excerpts of) 1966 film Daisies, the source for the cover of Stereo Girls: (and inspiration for the song itself) of great interest to YF fans who haven't seen it as a closest thing to a visual compliment the YF's artrock of just over a decade ago. The food fight scene (it won't let itself be embedded, but it's easily available on youtube), with it's pop artly unreal close-ups of garish coloured sweetmeats of long ago, also has the same uneasy quality as the picture on the inside of Male Shadow at 3' O Clock. (and if anyone knows the source of THAT photo, please reply!)
