What I want to do in the Alps (in no particular order):
Ascend the intended ridge
Not lose a crampon half-way up a route
Not leave axes at the top of the route
Not spend most of the time attending a hospital
Not glissade with crampons on
Not break my ankle on the descent to the hut
Not miss the last telepherique
Not ascend the side of a kinfe-edge snow arete only to realise all too late that this can't be the route...
Have my baggage arrive at the same time I do
Other than that I'm fairly easy as long as we do a couple of routes.
