I recently had to go away for a while.
I got some one to take care of my birds 15 finches (several varieties) plus Julie.
During the confusion of the transfer of the cages.
Julies Door on her transfer cage was left unlatched.
She opened it on the porch (enclosed) when I opened the porch door to bring in the finches she flew out.
I had been planning to clip her wings again as she was flying around the house all to well.
For one day she was in a large tree and would not be talked down just climbing and flitting from branch to branch.
When It got dark she climbed up and stopped responding to my calls.
The next morning there was no response and no sign of her.
I have walked the neighbor hood calling with no response.
The last few nights have been freezing and now is raining and sleeting.
I have little or no hope.
