Les,

I'm so sorry to hear of this occurance, I'm not going to call it your loss because there is still much hope! Get out there and publicize this like you've never gotten the word out for something before! Call the local news stations and ask them to each do a piece; in these pathetic days of media people look for and really cling to the "down home" stories that actually mean things to the people in thier communities. Go to your local Kinkos or print shop and see what kind of special the manager can give you on printing things legal size or bigger (people are so used to seeing flyers everywhere for everything that you have to take that extra step to attract their eye). I'm sure you've got a great group of friends about you in your neighborhood who'd be willing to help you canvas the area; neighbor kids, etc. Another option for getting things physically posted is calling the highschools around and asking if their extracurricular groups that do service projects/volunteer work, etc would be willing to help post the flyers (Student Council, Campus Leaders, etc). I know when I was in highschool a similiar situation occurred where someone needed help canvasing an area and getting the word out to advertise something, and our Student Council got together and did it.

I sure am praying that Julie comes back to you somehow, Les. I can't imagine how hard this is!
