In a nutshell, these are the things you need to do right now to get your bird back.
l. Post flyers ... everywhere, neighborhood, vet offices, pet shops, animal shelters, local convenience stores, etc. Most likely someone nearby found your bird so hit your neighborhood hard with flyers.
2. Post a Craigslist ad in lost & found and pets sections.
3. Place a newspaper ad in your local newspaper.
4. Notify your local animal control/humane society. Also, notify locale police and fire department.
Continue to search your neighborhood ... if birds can find shelter and food they can survive cold temps.
