I have posted this poem here before & other places, I dug it up thinking of you
& your Mother...Several friends have changed the verbiage from Dad to Mother and
to Grandmother over the years & said with eulogies to their parents, too...It came
through me very quickly on the day of my Dad's service...I share it again below~

A poem about the loss of our Dad and for anyone that has
lost their father...

My father died.
My Dad died.
My Dad is dead.
I am so-o-o sad...
I have heard these words when
it comes to others,
I've shared this pain with friends
and family through the years.
Now it's my turn,
and that of my sister and brothers
and my husband...
The pain is unbearable.
The pain is terrible.
The pain is unsharable
but the most sharable of all,
one of the common, binding threads
of all humanity,
The loss of your Dad. . .
Oh, Please give me and us and all
strength and grace and love.
I see you Dad up above
and I feel your deep and
abiding love. . .
