My husband makes seaweed soup...with some Chinese dried turnip, a big hunk of pork, lots of pepper and ginger, and a "disc" of seaweed. My dog, Coco, who has thyroid problems, starts drooling the minute she smells it cooking. I'm convinced it's good for what ails you, and request it whenever I'm having irritable bowel garbage. It has clinging properties, and just takes the garbage out! Oh boy, I must be bored...hope Rain's having a good time in New York...all it's done upstate is rain, Rain, RAIN!
